Two Year Pro-Rated Workmanship Warranty.

1. Term
This workmanship warranty applies for two (2) years from the date the work is substantially completed (the “Completion Date”).

2. What is covered (workmanship only)
This warranty covers loss of adhesion of the applied coating (including peeling, flaking, or blistering) caused solely by defects in our workmanship (surface preparation or application), on the surfaces we painted under this contract.

3. Remedy (repair only; limited area)
If a covered defect occurs and is reported within the warranty term, we will, at our option, repair the affected area(s). Our responsibility is limited to the defective area(s) only and does not include repainting entire walls/elevations for uniform appearance.

4. Pro‑rated cost share
All pricing is based on our then‑current labour rates and material costs. Owner’s share is payable before work begins.

  • Months 0–12: We pay 100% of covered labour and materials.

  • Months 13–24: We pay 50% of covered labour and materials; Owner pays 50%.

5. Claim process / conditions
a) Owner must notify us in writing within 30 days of discovering the issue and provide reasonable access to inspect.
b) We must be given the opportunity to inspect and perform repairs before others attempt repairs.
c) Warranty coverage applies only where we determine, acting reasonably, that the defect was caused solely by our workmanship.

6. Exclusions (not covered)
This warranty does not cover defects or damage caused by:

  • Moisture intrusion or condensation (including roof / window / door leaks, failed flashing, wind driven rain, wet substrate, poor ventilation, high interior humidity, sprinkler overspray, gutters / downspouts draining onto surfaces, or inadequate drainage / grading).

  • Substrate failure or movement (wood rot, rust, corrosion, efflorescence, cracking from settlement, shifting, expansion/contraction, or structural defects).

  • Mold, mildew, algae, staining, dirt accumulation, or environmental pollutants.

  • Failure of previous coatings, unknown layers, or workmanship/materials not supplied by us.

  • Accident, abuse, neglect, improper cleaning, pressure washing, or modifications/repairs performed by others.

  • Horizontal walking surfaces (decks, steps, porches, floors) unless expressly included in writing.

7. Colour and sheen
Exact colour or sheen matching is not guaranteed for warranty repairs due to fading, weathering, batch differences, and application conditions.

8. Limitation of liability
To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, including loss of use or damage to contents. This warranty sets out the Owner’s exclusive remedy for covered workmanship defects.

9. Transferability
This warranty is non‑transferable without our written consent.
