Business Development Manager
$65,000 annual base pay
Plus, 10% of annual realized net profits

Role Description:
As our Business Development Manager, you’ll play a key role in identifying and securing new commercial projects, building relationships with industry partners, and driving revenue growth. You’ll be the face of our business in the field: a connector, closer, and trusted advisor for our clients.
This opening requires a valid BC driver’s license.
Responsibilities:
Identify and pursue new business opportunities in the commercial and institutional sectors.
Build and maintain strong relationships with general contractors, property managers, interior designers, architects, developers, and homeowners.
Generate and follow up on leads through outreach, networking, referrals, and inbound inquiries.
Conduct site visits, client meetings, and project walkthroughs.
Collaborate with estimators to prepare accurate and competitive bids and proposals.
Manage a sales pipeline through CRM tools, tracking activity and follow ups.
Represent the company at industry events, trade shows, and networking functions.
Work closely with the leadership team to align sales strategy with company goals.
Achieve or exceed monthly and annual sales targets.
Skills and Qualifications:
2 - 5+ years of experience in B2B sales, business development, or account management (construction or trades industry preferred.)
Proven ability to generate leads, build relationships, and close deals.
Strong understanding of the commercial construction and tendering process.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Highly organized and self-motivated with strong time management abilities.
Comfortable using CRM software.
Valid driver’s license and access to a reliable vehicle (local travel required.)
Knowledge of painting, coatings, or related building trades is considered an asset, but is not required.
