Role Description:

We’re looking for motivated and reliable Apprentices to join our team. This is an entry-level position ideal for someone who wants to build a long term career in the painting trade. You’ll work under the guidance of experienced painters, and learn the foundations of professional painting. Starting with surface prep and progressing into more advanced techniques over time.

You don’t need to be an expert, but you do need to be punctual, teachable, respectful, and ready to work hard.

• A valid BC driver’s license and access to a reliable vehicle is strongly preferred.

Responsibilities:

• Assist with surface preparation: sanding, filling holes, caulking, masking, scraping, etc.

• Pressure washing exterior surfaces to prepare for painting

• Use hand and power tools safely and correctly.

• Roll large surfaces (e.g., walls, fences, siding) under supervision

• Maintain clean and organized job sites.

• Support lead painters with setup, cleanup, and materials.

• Follow company safety procedures and jobsite etiquette.

• Learn and grow your skills through hands-on experience.

Skills and Qualifications:

• Positive attitude and willingness to learn.

• Reliable, punctual, and professional.

• Able to take direction and work as part of a team.

• Physically fit and able to safely lift, carry, and move materials 50lbs or more.

• Comfortable working outdoors and at heights.

• Strong attention to detail and pride in quality work.

• Some experience with tools or work in trades is a bonus, but not required.
